When you generate a page on DesignGenerate, you can set a custom URL. Instead of a random string like /s/minimal-bio-mx4f2k, you get something clean like /s/jane-doe or /s/my-studio.
Choosing a Good URL
Keep it short, lowercase, and easy to remember. Good examples:
/s/sarah-chen— personal name/s/northpoint— business name/s/tidal-memory— project name
Avoid numbers and random characters. Your URL is part of your brand.
How to Set It
When you're on the Use Template page, you'll see a Custom URL field at the bottom of the form. Type your preferred slug (minimum 5 characters) and hit Generate. If it's available, it's yours.
Changing Your URL Later
You can rename your page URL from your dashboard at any time. The old URL will stop working immediately, so update any links you've shared.
Pro Tip
If you're using your page as a portfolio or business page, match your URL to your name or brand. When someone sees designgenerate.com/s/your-brand on a business card, it should be obvious what they'll find.
